Tamshiram Paraste was born in Garkamatta village in 1986. He is the younger brother of Dwarka Paraste. He moved to Bhopal at the age of 20 and learned painting from Nankusia Shyam. Tamshiram’s paintings have leaf patterns and express with rich imagination the natural scenery in the village and traditionally passed-down stories.
