Gangaram Vyam was born in Sonpuri in 1977. He is the elder brother of Sukhnandi Vyam. Starting painting from his teens, Gangaram’s painting skill became so popular in the village that he was requested to paint on special occasions such as weddings, childbirth and festivals. He prefers to paint Gond mythology, and paints the grand appearance of deities in dynamic expressions.
