Dilip Shyam was born in Patangarh village in 1979, and studied painting under his uncle Jangarh Singh Shyam. His work was given the state award at the exhibition at the state museum in 2008. His characteristic pattern is imagined from weaved rope, and his paintings are marked by the combination of calm colours.
